Financial Assistance

Tuition is a significant sacrifice for any family, and our LaSallian Tradition aims to make a Driscoll education available to all families, regardless of financial means. Driscoll's financial assistance program is comprised of various aid resources. All families interested in applying for financial assistance must complete the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment forms for the 2009-10 school year, which can be obtained at the Main Office. All applicants who turn in their FACTS forms are then eligible to be selected for one or more of the following types of financial assistance:

Joliet Diocese Grant
Student's family must be a member of the Joliet Diocese to receive a Diocesan Grant.
$750/student
$1000/family
Driscoll Catholic Grant
Driscoll awards Grant money to families that apply for financial assistance and demonstrate need. Awards are based solely on need and vary in amount. 
$500 to $1750
Work Study Program
Work Study is a program chosen for a select number of students who aid and assist around the school with various duties. Assistance is awarded on an hourly basis, dependent on students completion of their work hours.
(combined with Adult Work Study)
Adult Work Study Program
A select number of families are offered tuition credit for duties performed on campus by parents or relatives of a student. Work Study applications must be returned by August 1st to ensure Adult Work Study hours.

Family Discount
When a family has students at Driscoll concurrently, they receive a tuition discount no family will incur more than $19,575.00 in tuition charges for the current school year.
$700 tuition credit for second child;
$3500 tuition credit for the 3rd child.

All students applying for financial assistance must turn in their FACTS forms by March 1st, 2009. Award notices are mailed in June. A sample financial assistance package is below:

Financial Assistance Answers

Q. Where do I obtain a FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment form?
A. Driscoll Catholic has these forms available in the Main Office beginning January 1st. Forms will also be available at all of the Entrance Exams and can be sent to you upon request. Call the Admissions Office at (630) 543-6310 extension 830 to request a packet, or come to the Main Office duringregular business hours and one will be provided for you. You can also apply online at http://www.factstuitionaid.com


Q. Do I need to apply for financial assistance every year?
A. Yes, families attending Driscoll Catholic must complete the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment forms every year to receive assistance.
 

Q. Where do I turn in my FACTS forms?
A. Turn in all FACTS forms and paperwork to FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment, PO Box 5688, Lincoln, NE 68505. Do not turn in any documents that the application asks for to Driscoll Catholic.

Q. How are assistance packages determined?
A. Financial Assistance packages are determined by the review of the Financial Aid Report provided to Driscoll by the FACTS Program. Financial Assistance is distributed proportionally based on financial need demonstrated on a case by case basis.
